What do I need to do before I depart?
Before you depart, please make sure you have completed the following steps:
Step 1. Check your device's eSIM compatibility
To check if your device supports eSIM, please dial
*#06#.
If a 32-digit EID number appears on your screen, your device supports eSIM.
Step 2. Check that your device is unlocked.
Step 3. Register your Arrival Date via our website here.
How do I register my Arrival Date?
To register your Arrival Date, please visit our website here. Once completed, please allow up to 24 hours for processing.
What if I'm not sure about my Arrival Date?
If you're not sure when you'll be travelling, you can register your dates later. We recommend doing this at least one day before you travel to ensure a smooth activation process.
What if my Arrival Date changes?
Once the eSIM QR code is generated, it is valid for 90 days. If you are travelling within 90 days, no changes are required. If you are travelling outside of 90 days, please email us at hello@globalstarlink.com.au for further assistance.
How do I find my Order Number?
Depending on the marketplace you purchased from, your order number format may vary. You can usually find it in your confirmation email, or by signing into your eBay or Amazon account and opening your order details.

Note: If you purchased multiple eSIMs, please use the same order number for each eSIM purchased.
How do I activate this eSIM?
Please follow the steps below to activate your eSIM:
Step 1. Go to your device settings and scan the QR code to install your eSIM.
iOS
Settings > Mobile > under SIMs, select Add eSIM > scan the QR code or enter the activation code manually
Android
Settings > Connections > SIM card manager > Add mobile plan / Add eSIM > scan the QR code or enter the activation code manually
Pixel
Settings > Network & internet > Mobile network > Advanced > Carrier > Add carrier / Add carrier eSIM
Step 2. Please allow 2–3 minutes while the QR code installs onto your device. Once installation is complete, the eSIM should appear under your SIMs / eSIM section with a label such as Mobile Data, Secondary, Travel, etc.
What do I do once I have arrived in Indonesia?
Once you have arrived in Indonesia, please follow the steps below:
Step 1. Turn your Indonesia eSIM ON.
iOS
Settings > Mobile > under SIMs, select your Indonesia eSIM > turn on “Turn On This Line”
Android
Settings > Connections > SIM card manager > select your Indonesia eSIM > turn ON the eSIM

Settings > Network & internet > Mobile network > select your Indonesia eSIM > turn ON the eSIM
Step 2. Set your Mobile Data to your new Indonesia eSIM.

Settings > Mobile > Mobile Data > select your Indonesia eSIM

Settings > Connections > SIM card manager > Mobile data > select your Indonesia eSIM

Settings > Network & internet > Mobile network > Mobile data > select your Indonesia eSIM
Step 3. Make sure Data Roaming is turned ON.

Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > turn Data Roaming ON

Step 4. Check your APN settings:
APN Name: mobile.three.co.hk
APN Username: Leave blank
APN Password: Leave blank
Please allow up to 30 minutes for the eSIM to connect properly to the local network.
What will my phone number be?
This Indonesia eSIM is data-only and does not include a traditional phone number for voice calls or SMS. It provides high-speed data for browsing the web, using apps, and staying connected online while travelling.
How do I check my data balance?
We recommend checking your data usage through your device settings. Unfortunately, there is no separate external method to check your data balance.

Can I recharge my eSIM?
No. The Indonesia eSIM is a single-use eSIM and cannot be recharged or extended once activated. If you need more data or extra service days, you will need to purchase a new eSIM.
Which countries does this eSIM work in?
This eSIM is designed for use in Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia. If you plan to travel to other countries, you may need to purchase a separate eSIM.
How can my family and friends call or message me?
As this is a data-only eSIM, your family and friends will not be able to call or text you through a traditional phone number. They can contact you through internet-based apps such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, WeChat, or email.
What happens if I travel for longer than the service days I purchased?
If you travel for longer than the duration covered by your Indonesia eSIM, you will need to purchase another eSIM for the additional days required.
If I have trouble with my eSIM while overseas, what should I do?
