Yes — this plan is not data-only. It comes with a French mobile number (+33) that works in every covered destination. Incoming calls and texts to that number are free, and the plan also includes 15 minutes of outgoing international calls (10 minutes in Zones 4–6) and 50 SMS.
Because the line is hosted on Orange France, any service messages sent by the network arrive in French. That is normal and not a fault.

I bought this eSIM to use for my holiday to New Caledonia. I added it the day before my trip, which was really easy to do, and when I landed, I could turn it on to use it straight away.
