From the moment we landed in San Francisco everything just worked. The phone picked up the network automatically and I didn't have to manually choose anything. Used it for Uber, restaurant bookings, navigation and video calls home. Honestly one of those travel purchases you don't really think about because it simply does its job.

Spent nearly two weeks around Oahu and Maui. Signal stayed strong in Honolulu and around most tourist areas. We uploaded heaps of photos, watched YouTube while relaxing at the hotel and used Google Maps every day without noticing any slowdowns. Definitely easier than buying a SIM at the airport after a long flight.

One thing I really liked was being able to leave my Australian SIM turned on for banking verification texts while using this eSIM for all my data. Didn't miss any important messages from home and still had fast internet the whole trip. Great option if you don't want to swap your normal SIM out.

Overall I was really happy with it and would absolutely buy it again. Setup instructions were clear, activation happened just after landing and the connection stayed reliable throughout California and Nevada. The only reason I'm giving four stars is because speeds dipped slightly one evening at a packed baseball game, but that's probably more about network congestion than the product itself. For most travellers it's a fantastic option.

I'd never used a travel eSIM before so I was a little nervous. The QR code arrived within about half an hour and the setup guide was very easy to follow. I accidentally tried activating it while still in Australia but customer support explained that's completely normal and it would finish activating once I landed in the US. Everything worked exactly like they said. Really impressed with how smooth the whole process was.

As we were still travelling through USA for another week I quickly purchased a 7 day e-sim. Complied with all the information and provided a start date which provided them ample time. Received no push notification over a period of around 6 hours whilst travelling between airports from Canada and USA but nothing. We were on a short timeframe due to connecting travel where I would not have access to internet and so I ended up with no internet/phone for the next 7 days. Raised the issue when we finally got back into internet range and was basically told that I had missed the deadline and it was my fault that I did not contact them earlier. A bit hard when you do have the internet that one has purchased. No offer of re-imbursement or other compensation. And finally, not sure how ethical this company is when they dangle a discount off further purchases if you provide a review. Well they have my review but they can keep their discount as I will go back to a previous company that I used for my European travels where I had no issues whatsoever with quick and easy connections.
