How do I check the data balance or top up my Three UK SIM Card?
Managing your Three UK SIM card's data balance and topping up your credit is essential to ensure uninterrupted service. Here's a guide to help you easily check your data balance and top up whenever needed.
Checking Data Balance (via the Three UK Website or My3 App):
- Visit the Three UK website or use the Three UK app.
Note: To install the Three UK app, you may be required to change your App Store location to the UK or Europe. - Using the phone number provided via SMS from Three UK to register the account.
- Log in to your account using your credentials.
- Look for the section that displays your current data balance.
Topping Up:
If you are planning to use your Three UK prepaid SIM card while traveling, keep in mind Three UK’s fair use policy allows you to use a maximum of 12GB of data every 30 days when roaming. Even if you recharge your data pack while abroad, you will not be able to access additional roaming data until the first 30-day period has ended.
1. Online Top-Up:
- Visit the Three UK top-up page.
- Enter the phone number you would like to top up
- Select how you would like to top up. We recommend selecting the Data Pack option.
- Select the amount you wish to top up, and click 'Continue' at the bottom of the page.
- Select payment method, and wait for the pop up to Add card details show.
- Proceed to payment and complete the transaction.
2. Using Vouchers:
- Purchase a Three UK top-up voucher from authorized retailers.
- Dial the Three UK top-up number (e.g., 444) from your phone.
- Follow the voice prompts to enter the voucher code.
- Your account will be topped up accordingly.
3. Topping up without registering
- Visit the Three UK 'Anonymous Top Up' page here
- Enter the phone number of the SIM Card you would like to top up
- Select how you would like to top up. We recommend selecting the Data Pack option.
- Select the amount you wish to top up, and click 'Continue' at the bottom of the page.
- Select payment method, and wait for the pop up to Add card details show.
- Proceed to payment and complete the transaction.
4. Topping up over the phone
If you're a phone customer, you can call 444 free from your Three phone to top-up over the phone.
- To top-up by voucher, select Top-up with a voucher and enter the 16-digit number printed across the receipt. Once you’ve entered the voucher code, your account will be topped up.
- To top-up by credit or debit card, you need a registered debit or credit card. Log in to My3, click Manage cards in the Top-up section and select Add card. Or you can call 444 from your Three phone. Choose Top-up with a card, then follow the instructions.
- To top-up and buy an Add-on, select Top-up your number and buy an Add-on. You can top-up and buy your Add-on using a voucher or by card – you don’t need to register before you buy.
- If you want to buy an Add-on that costs more than £35, your card will need to be registered. You can do this in My3 or over the phone, using the info above.
