Bali & Indonesia Prepaid Travel eSIM

We travelled through Bali, caught the ferry over to Nusa Penida and later spent a few nights in Lombok. Reception stayed surprisingly good in most tourist areas and maps loaded quickly while exploring. Streaming music and uploading photos every evening wasn't a problem either. Definitely suited to travellers moving around rather than staying in one place.

I had to spend a couple of mornings working remotely from a café in Canggu. Hotspotting my laptop worked really well and video meetings were stable without any annoying dropouts. Afterwards I used the same connection for streaming and social media. For anyone mixing work with a holiday, this eSIM is definitely worth considering.

The setup was honestly much easier than I expected. I scanned the QR code before leaving home and the instructions were really clear. Once I arrived in Bali the eSIM connected automatically without needing to change any settings. It made organising transport from the airport really simple and I never had to search for free WiFi. Great option if it's your first time trying an eSIM.

Overall this eSIM worked really well and I'd happily use it again. Installation was simple, the connection stayed reliable across most of Bali and roaming into Singapore worked exactly as advertised. The only reason I'm giving four stars is because speeds slowed a little one busy afternoon around Kuta Beach, but it was still perfectly usable for maps and messaging. Everywhere else the performance was excellent.

I accidentally thought something was wrong because the eSIM wouldn't activate while I was still in Australia. I contacted support and they explained it only connects once you're inside the coverage area. Sure enough, everything started working as soon as I landed in Bali. Really appreciated the fast reply and clear explanation. It's nice dealing with a team that actually knows the product.

Within a minute of turning off flight mode at Denpasar Airport I was online. Used it constantly for Grab, Google Maps and restaurant bookings. The connection stayed fast around Seminyak, Ubud and Nusa Dua. I'd happily buy the same eSIM again.

Our holiday included Bali first and then a few days in Singapore before flying home. It was really handy knowing the same eSIM worked once we arrived there as well. The switch between countries happened automatically and data speeds stayed reliable. Saved us buying another SIM just for a short stopover.

Considering how much we used it, I thought this eSIM offered really good value. We relied on it every day for Grab, WhatsApp, Google Maps, online banking and uploading heaps of holiday photos. I hardly connected to hotel WiFi because the mobile data was already quick enough. It just made the whole trip feel easier.

Used Grab a lot in Bali and connection stayed stable. Didn’t get stuck waiting for app to load which was good.

Easy to use great coverage

At first I thought it broken but I didn’t activate in right order. Once I follow guide it work fine.

Surprisingly still get signal during island hopping boat trip. Not super strong but enough for messaging.

City coverage was excellent but little bit weak in rural parts of Bali. Still usable tho.

Shared data with laptop sometimes and it hold up okay. Not perfect but good enough for emails and browsing.

No need to find SIM at airport which was nice after long flight. Just turn on and go. Simple.

In Seminyak and Canggu speed was really good, like almost same as home. Upload photos quick too. No big issues.

Used everyday for Google Maps, WhatsApp and booking drivers. Never really need hotel wifi. Battery drain also not bad compared to roaming SIM.

Used in Bali, Lombok and Jakarta. Connection stayed stable most of time. Sometimes in remote beach area little bit weak but still usable. Overall very good.

QR code came super fast after purchase. Setup was pretty simple, just scan and follow steps. I did make mistake activating too early but support told me just wait till land, then it worked fine.

Installed before flight and it connect as soon as I landed in Denpasar. No stress at all. Used it in Bali and Gili islands, speed was good for maps and Grab. Even hotspot to my wife phone worked fine, bit surprised honestly.

Landed in Jakarta and it took about 15 minutes to connect which had me a little worried. Contacted support and they advised me to just wait and not delete it. Sure enough it connected on its own. Once it was running the 4G speeds on Telkomsel were excellent. Customer service was very patient and helpful

Was travelling through all three and this eSIM switched networks seamlessly each time. Indonesia runs on Telkomsel which had strong coverage, Singapore on SIMBA which was super fast, and Malaysia on U Mobile which held up well. No settings to change at all. Really convenient

Love not having to find a SIM card stall at the airport. Ordered this from the couch, got the QR code in minutes and installed it that night. By the time we landed in Bali we were already connected. TikTok is blocked on this eSIM but I knew that before purchasing so no issue

There was a brief wait when I first arrived before the eSIM connected to Telkomsel which I've heard is normal. Once it kicked in the speeds were great and I had no further issues. Support replied quickly when I messaged them during that initial wait which was reassuring. Four stars only because of the initial wait

Used this for video calls, maps and posting on socials every day across Bali and Jakarta. The 4G LTE speeds were consistently good in the cities and tourist areas. Hotspot worked well too for connecting my laptop. Support team also replied within a couple hours when I had a quick question

Got my QR code by email almost straight away. Installed it at home on WiFi before we flew and when we landed in Denpasar it connected to Telkomsel automatically. Fast 4G speeds around Seminyak and Ubud the whole trip. If it ever seemed slow I just toggled aeroplane mode and it sorted itself out quickly. Great product

Was a bit worried about coverage outside the tourist areas but Telkomsel was surprisingly solid even driving through some rice fields and quieter villages. Speeds slowed slightly in very remote spots which is totally normal, but still perfectly usable. Would recommend
