Before You Depart

Step 1. Check eSIM compatibility: Dial *#06# for EID. Note: Google Pixel is not compatible.

Step 2. Ensure device is unlocked.

Step 3. Register Arrival Date here.

Arrival Date Changes

If your arrival date changes, notify us 3 days prior. Email us at hello@globalstarlink.com.au.

Order Number

Find your order number in the Confirmation Email or your eBay/Amazon/Global Starlink account.

Activation Steps

iOS: Settings > Mobile > Add eSIM
Android: Settings > Connections > SIM card manager > Add eSIM
Pixel: Settings > Network & Internet > Add carrier eSIM

In Bali

Step 1. Turn eSIM ON in settings.

Step 2. Set eSIM as Mobile Data.

Step 3. APN Settings: APN Name: Internet, leave username/password blank.

If not connected, dial *363*369# to activate data.

Check Data Balance

Dial *888# or check under Mobile Data settings.

Recharging

Recharge via Telkomsel app or here.

Coverage

Works in Bali and Indonesia.

Recommended for travel abroad!

I bought the esim for Japan and it was my first time purchasing any sort of esim. The esim was easy to activate and use. Speed was pretty good, too. Definitely recommend for any travel abroad, and will probably use it again for my next travel.

Great service

Amazing way to connect when travelling overseas. Worked really well great phone and internet coverage in Hawaii. No need for a sim. I certainly recommend this ESim and company. Kept me informed every step of the way and when I landed in Hawaii I had a message when I turned my phone on that it was active. Also it was much cheaper than using my aussie mobile.

Good points and bad points

Having access to the internet full time whilst overseas was fantastic. However, the issues I had getting started and not being able to make the important calls I needed to make was not. I was promised a start-up text/message at 8am on the day of arrival at HNL - I did not get it and was therefore unable to communicate effectively with my chauffeur. When I finally figured out that I was connected much later in the evening I found I was unable to make calls to my travel mates. I had the esim for a week and only had effective use for 5 days. I would try another option next time.
